Zach Zobiech was diagnosed with Cancer at the age of 14. He passed away on May 20, but left behind an inspirational story like no other. Zach, his girlfriend Amy and his family represent a goodness that can’t help make you smile, despite the inevitable ending to the story. This is truly a story of living life to the fullest no matter what.

Zach Sobiech, the Minnesota teenager who became an Internet sensation for a song he wrote about fighting cancer, succumbed to the disease Monday morning.
He was 18.
Sobiech was just 14 when he was diagnosed with bone cancer and wrote a song called “Clouds” about saying goodbye.
Earlier this month, a lip-synching video tribute featuring celebrities including Ashley Tisdale, Jenna Fischer and Jason Mraz appeared on Rainn Wilson’s SoulPancake YouTube channel.
“It is with heavy heart that we announce the passing of our son Zachary David Sobiech,” his family said in a statement released to the “Today” show.
His relatives asked that remembrances be made in the form of donations to the Zach Sobiech Osteosarcoma Foundation, which helps children with cancer.
