Alligators Attack on the Big Screen…The Crawl Movie Hits Theaters on July 12

If you are looking for a little bit of excitement on your next trip to the movie theater, Crawl is set to be the horror movie of the summer. The upcoming horror film, directed by Alexandre Aja, follows a father and daughter who get trapped in a Category 5 hurricane and end up being hunted by massive alligators. This edge-of-your-seat thriller will keep you entertained from start to finish.

The film is scheduled to be released on July 12.

The reviews have been overwhelmingly positive, with Peri Nemiroff (Collider) saying: “#CrawlMovie is a bats***, wild summer thrill! I’m a pretty quiet movie watcher but that went out the window here. Forget “edge of your seat” – had to stop myself from jumping out of it a few times. See this one on the big screen with a packed house.”

The Plot

During a fierce Category 5 hurricane that hits a Florida town, Haley Keller (Kaya Scodelario) goes against the town’s orders of evacuation in order to find her father Dave (Barry Pepper). Through finding him in a crawlspace basement of their family home in Coral Lake, the father and daughter realize that due to the hurricane, multiple predators live in the town. With absolutely no rescue, impossible escape, and rising waters, Haley and Dave have to escape marauding alligators as they try to escape hurricane season.
