Although he released his first album in 1993, David Gray didn’t start to see fame until 2000 with the release of his critically acclaimed album “White Ladder”. He originally self-financed and self-released the album on his own label after parting ways with his record company, but later released the album through ATO Records, which was founded by Dave Matthews. Gray had recently been on tour with Dave Matthews and because of that relationship, he was able to gain wider distribution for his album and gain worldwide attention, which led to the album being ranked #5 on the best selling albums of the 2000s in the United Kingdom. 11 albums later, Gray is still creating new music and touring.

If you love the music of David Gray, get ready for a special tour that will be making a stop in the San Francisco Bay Area. The “White Ladder: The 20th Anniversary Tour” is a celebration 20 years after the release of his breakthrough album. He will be performing all of the songs from the album as well as a few additional fan favorites. See the special concert at The Greek Theater in Berkeley, California on Friday, July 30.
