Guitarist, Singer, and Songwriter Peter Frampton Takes the Stage at The Masonic
Peter Frampton is a British rock musician and guitarist who rose to fame in the 1970s with his hit album “Frampton Comes Alive!” This album is considered one of the best live recordings in rock history and catapulted Frampton to worldwide fame. His signature use of the talk box, a device that creates vocal effects through a guitar, became a defining feature of his music.
Born in Kent, England, Frampton started playing guitar at a young age and joined his first band, The Preachers, when he was just 12 years old. He went on to play with a number of influential groups, including Humble Pie and The Herd, before embarking on a successful solo career. In addition to his solo work, Frampton has collaborated with many other artists over the years, including David Bowie, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr.
Throughout his career, Frampton has been known for his electrifying live performances and impressive guitar skills. He has won numerous awards for his music, including a Grammy Award for Best Pop Instrumental Performance in 2007. Today, he is considered a legend in the world of rock music and continues to tour and record new music.
