Ready to listen to the brilliant sound of a music industry legend? Is there nothing better than hearing the sweet melodies of guitar perfection? You’re in luck because Shoreline Amphitheater has invited one of the greats to its stage for a concert in Mountain View, California and if you grab your tickets before they sell out, you will be in for a real treat. Santana is coming to the popular Amphitheater located right next to Google Headquarters for a night of music that will keep you dancing and signing all night. The 73 year old front man, Carlos Santana is a Bay Area local, moving to the San Francisco in the early ‘60s and forming his first band called The Santana Blues Band in 1966. Eventually shortening the band name to Santana, the group quickly rose to success, eventually becoming one of the best selling musical groups of all time with over 100 million records sold worldwide. Their catalog is almost impossibly large, boasting a staggering 25 studio albums and 14 of them reaching top ten in the United States. Santana seems to never have missed a step and despite starting their journey in the 60s, reached their highest success in 1999 with the “Supernatural” Album, which reached the top spot in 11 countries and gave us two huge singles “Smooth” and “Maria, Maria”. If you haven’t seen the iconic and live, you will have chance on Tuesday, June 22 as they take the stage at Shoreline Amphitheater.
