Celine Dion is making a stop in the San Francisco Bay Area

A celebrated French Canadian singer who rose to stardom in the 90s, Celine Dion has a long history in music. She started singing at a young age, releasing her first album at the age of 13 and receiving an award at a Tokyo song festival a year later. In 1983, at just 15 years of age, she received the first gold record in France by a Canadian. Her early success helped pave the way to becoming the best selling Canadian music artist of all time. Celine Dion has sold over 200 million albums worldwide, received 3 Grammy Awards (including “Album of the Year”) and has a long list of other awards and achievements. 

Celine is known for a long list of different songs, but perhaps her greatest achievement was the ballad “My Heart Will Go On”, which was featured in the 1997 Motion Picture “Titanic”. The song won an Academy Award for Best Original Song, scored a Grammy Award for Record of the Year as well as won a Golden Globe for Best Original Song.
