Primus at Greek Theater Berkeley

Are you ready to rock out to some epic funk metal? If you like your live shows to be loud and high-energy, then you should definitely check out Primus. The band was formed back in 1984 in Northern California and has had quite a career. If you don’t think you ever heard Primus, you may be wrong. If you have ever watched South Park or Robot Chicken on Adult Swim, Primus wrote and performed the theme songs for both. Led by brilliant guitarist Les Claypool, the band has released 9 studio albums, the latest in 2017, with 2 albums, “Sailing the Seas of Cheese” and “Pork Soda” making it to Platinum. They were also nominated for two Grammy Awards, one for Best Hard Rock Performance and one for Best Surround Sound Album. The band is set to perform at The Greek Theater at U.C. Berkeley on Friday, August 20.
